Society States!

In order for any individual to live, food, shelter and water is important. Of course shelter isn’t a major problem along with water, but food is something that gets wasted in billion quantities- something extremely unhealthy for us and our society. Today in India, over 160 million children go to sleep hungry and over 150 million suffer from no nourishment and malnutrition. Over 1.2 billion people earn less than Rs.1 per day- an amount that has no value in the world today. The people in India including the manufacturer companies and industries waste food worth up to Rs. 58,000 crore- an amount in which 49 million can be fed, 35 million can be nourished and the rest can survive on a daily basis. Out of this 30% goes into wasting fruits and vegetables and 25% into pulses and grains. (more…)
Stop Being Stereotyped!!
It is a stereotype phrase that “boys are better than girls”, but this is not true. Because the humanity is developing, and females have the economic potential as men do. If we do not educate the females, the economic help from females would be less.
In India, there is a lot of discrimination against women and making them work at home is a major part of that prejudice against females. Out of 113 million people in the primary school are illiterate in the world in which three fourth are females. 875 million of adults are illiterate and of course, the majority is females. Recently the Indian government has taken this issue in notice and is taking action on it. The government gives you free education until you are 14. Still, some people do not know how to take advantage of that. The reasons are mostly economical or cultural for that the girl child is not been educated. If the mother is illiterate, then her first priority will be that the girl stays home and gives a hand in household work, and then she would think about educating her daughter in the school and give a financial hand later in life.
People ask, “Why educate girls?” Because its human rights. Education is the key to open the door to come out of the poverty and decrease the population growth too. It is likely that educated women have smaller families with two to three children, but illiterate woman can have up to eight children. Moreover, the educated women have a healthier family than non-literates.
