My Page!!
The advertisement above as made by me; Sakhi Ganeriwala as a student of Mahatma Gandhi International School. As part of our 10 grade assessment process, we were asked to choose a social or environmental issue and formulate its awareness through an ad. We were provided with equipments and any other resources we required from the school and were provided quality help from our moderators and teachers. As everyone chose different topics, I chose food wastage. In the beginning of my project, I conducted a survey to choose between three issues; food wastage, monuments and air pollution. Being the 2nd most wanted, food wastage fascinated me and I felt it to be a different issue.
As I researched deeper into my chosen topic, I did not want to create an advertisement on simple ‘waste of food’, of how it happens. I found out, people had various reasons or in better words, excuses to wasting food. Therefore, I developed an advertisement displaying the different excuses of food wastage.
I feel today, beggars including children, adults and people of all age groups try and find ways to earn money; try and find excuses for people to lend them money so they can sleep with filled stomachs. On the other hand, people living in proper living standards come up with excuses to wasting food. Amazing contrast, isn’t it?
So many people sleep with an empty stomach along the hope of earning a bit of money the next day. Moreover, people like you and me do not take into consideration this fact. While throwing our food away, we don’t think about those people on the street-those which can be fed and nourished from the food we throw away. These were some of the reasons I chose this particular topic.
Food Wastage attracted me as I thought of it as a major issue, especially in my community with the population bands and the food crisis. To figure out which excuses were popular; I conducted surveys through the society. As you see above, the three popular issues turned out to be- ‘too much food’, ‘not tasteful’ and ‘I don’t like it!’
Though I found these to be extremely lame excuses, it was the real truth; the truth that I wanted to spread through different people and make them aware of such an issue. Through our 2 month project, I collected actors, substituted them, decided sets, costumes and mainly; my target audience. Taking up a social issue, I had to be extremely clear on who I was targeting. Finally, I decided to target the adolescent age group. As I was shooting on my school campus, it gave me a good link. I could link my advertisement on the basis of the school context and student population.
Also, to make my advertisement extremely symbolized, each and every shot and scene in my ad is filmed in the cafeteria of my school. Though this is an unnoticeable fact, I felt this to have extreme symbolizes with my topic and its aura.

It's a JOB
The above picture illustrates abundance of poverty, prostitution, and dependence on a tourism based economy.
A few percentage of child labor comes from brutality, harassments by parents. They are mostly from urban areas of poor’s. The rural poverty and lack of employment and illiteracy has given birth to majority of child labor problems. (more…)
ANOTHER SHIFT
‘Child labor’ is a human right issued and referred to the employment of a child. This practice is considered exploitative and is illegal in several countries. Child labor was employed to unreliable extents through most of the history, but in later times it became a serious matter of public dispute with changes in working conditions during industrialization with the coming out of the concepts of the workers’ and children rights. Thus it is not socially pleasing but is legally restricted in the majority of the world. (more…)
concern of child labor
The multiple concern of child labor is a growing and it is an issue worth studying. The belief that children are being exploited and forced into labor is a big worry. They are not getting education to develop.
India is a major example of a nation plagued by the problem of child labor . What are the causes of child labor in India? What role does education play in regard to child labor in India? A serious investigation of the answers to the above questions may lead to a few solutions.
Influence On Your Child

As you grow, you change your attitude yout way of walking, your way of talking and of course your actions. By actions, it can be anything your way of eating your way of sitting or your way of walking. Any action you do changes as your age changes, when you are young you see your mother and father doing some actions if you are 5 year old you wont understand their action, but if you are 8 or 9 then you can understand the actions they do. When get some actions, which you never use to do first you dont realize but later when some other people find those changes, you start realising that those actions were nver yours. And then you know that you were influenced by some people and so you have those actions. Some of the actions are dangerous and harmful, and some helpful and good to do, and this can happen to anyone, you wont realize when you get those actions but you have them. And it can get influenced by younger kids faster than the older ones, because they have inccocent mind and if they see their brother or their parents doing some actions, they can do it too. As they think that if they are doing that action then its good, then if you are “hiting someone” or “helping an old man to cross the road.”
unhealthy food
As we know that eating unhygienic food and not even care about what they are eating in there daily routine, And if they know then also they would not take any action agents what they them self are doing to there body.
That happens because the unhygienic food is more testy then the healthy food but it is not every time the same so try and eat healthy food for your self and if you don't want to take a stan then there are possibilities of getting lot's of deceases and then you would think that what will happen next, It will be the same that you want that food aging and aging and that is because of you that food every day instead of eating some good food which would give you better health, and then after some day's you will see girl around you. That was just one very stupid comment of eating the healthy food but this is what help you lie more day's then there are with the unhealthy food. there are some companies who sale the food but it is not healthy at all, like the McDonnell's would sell the french fries in more amount because it is the most soled food in McDonnell's, and people like it the most, what ever they buy from there you would see french fries with there food. So McDonnell's is also a bad place to have your food.
There people who know what they are eating and in which way it effects there health but they would still go eating that food because they like to eat it and because it is testy also.
you can see this child how fat she is you might be thinking that she is healthy and fit but this is a child who is not fit and not even healthy she is like this because she would it unhealthy food every day.
So if you don't want to be like her if not then the food you should eat which would give you some nutrition and other healthy things from the food.
if we talk about unhealthy food then there is french fries which is totally not good for your health as it cases heart diseases by eating it every day or any other time in your life make shore that you don't eat french fries allot and that would help you keep your self healthy from your heart and from your body also.
There is one soup called canned soup and it is also one of the unhealthy food effecting your health, it has high level trans fat, sodium and artificial preservatives like the M.S.G. this is one of the company making this soup in there hotel and so there were people having that soup and then after some days there were people who were ill b that food, and that is when from the people have stopped eating that sop.

Feeding OURSELVES!!
As we all know, wastage of food is related to individual mindsets. In our society, there are various people who waste food and those who find reason behind this issue and people from each corner of each city and each age waste food through great quantities every day. But, it looks like the residents of India have their own way of looking at it. Through a survey conducted, it looked like people though it was the age-group from 15-25 which wastes the most; basically, the age of adolescents to bachelors.

As the graph states above, approximately 45% of the people wasting food is the adolescents and bachelors. A lot of times, as bachelors live alone at home, they have food sitting in their fridge until it gets rotten and eventually has to be thrown-a possible reason. Not only this, but there are various excuses people come up with today to waste food. Well, t looks like we have answers for it as well. Through the survey conducted, there were common quotes that people heard every day related on food wastage. (more...)
Society States!

In order for any individual to live, food, shelter and water is important. Of course shelter isn’t a major problem along with water, but food is something that gets wasted in billion quantities- something extremely unhealthy for us and our society. Today in India, over 160 million children go to sleep hungry and over 150 million suffer from no nourishment and malnutrition. Over 1.2 billion people earn less than Rs.1 per day- an amount that has no value in the world today. The people in India including the manufacturer companies and industries waste food worth up to Rs. 58,000 crore- an amount in which 49 million can be fed, 35 million can be nourished and the rest can survive on a daily basis. Out of this 30% goes into wasting fruits and vegetables and 25% into pulses and grains. (more...)
