AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) is a disease that is extremely fatal. It is a contagious disease and it is transferred via blood transfusion and sexual fluids. In AIDS, the virus spreads through the body and starts affecting the WBC (white blood cells) which are responsible to prevent any foreign object to enter the body. The virus stops the production of WBCs and this leads towards inviting more diseases thus, weakening the body’s immune system.
